• Safety
Emergency Stop Devices (e.g., switches, push buttons) shall be hard-wired
and function independently.
Potentially hazardous conditions shall not depend on PLC for interlocking/shutdown.
Power shall be removed from PLC I/O system in the event of a master emergency
stop or processor fault condition.
